About me? Quem sou? A propos de moi? Kilès mwen ye?

Olá!

My name is Perdrose Payano, Vendredi. My family and friends call me Pépé. I am a third year undergraduate law student at the State University of Haiti’s School of Law and Economy.

With regard to the Rule of Law, I am particularly interested in copyright law, due process for prisoners, women’s rights and human rights.

Language learning is one of my hobbies. I completed 2 years and 3 months of Portuguese lessons at the Cultural Center for Brazilian Studies in Haiti, and would love to continue learning Portuguese and the culture of Brazil through a language immersion program.

Last but not least, I am a writer and an aspiring artist. I wrote two poems in Portuguese in addition to various poems and prose I have written in Haitian Creole and French. Some of my texts have been published and I am currently working on a publication project in my native Haiti with other writers

As a writer, I strive to put feelings into words so that my writing can produce the same therapeutic effect as music. I want to make people forget their pain for a moment and at the same time, help them understand what they are going through.

Et c’est parti, mon blog est live!
